Raj Nath Bhat

Dr. Raj Nath Bhat has been a bright student and rose to the post of Professor of medicine in Jammu Medical College Jammu. He has been a voracious reader and a debater and has a vast collection of books. He has himself authored a book ‘Judicial Nemesis’ and some more books are in the making.

As a student, he was the brightest not among all in the dynasty but also amongst his fellow students in his college days. As a medical student he stood first in so many disciplines and was awarded medals.

During his medical college days, he was the personal physician of Bakshi Ghulam Mohd the then �Prime Minister� of the Jammu and Kashmir State and later also to Sheikh Mohd Abdullah.

He got married to Chuni Tiku (Shanti Bhat) at a very young age. He was a married student at the time of doing M.B.B.S and later went to UK and did M.R.C.P from Edinburgh.

He has two sons. Eldest Dr. Ayushman Bhat, is an M.D in Medicine and is working as Hospital Superintendent in cantonment hospital Jammu. He is well read, young, honest, hard working and a sincere practicing physician. He married Dr. Anjali Nadir who is herself an MD in Physiology and Assistant Professor in Jammu Medical College, Jammu.

Subash Bhat is the second son. He has read number of novels and has been a debater. After L.L.B, he did a course in Journalism. He has also done six months training in U.K. as a British Council Scholar at the Institute of Advanced Legal Studies, University of London. He is an advocate of Jammu High court and of Supreme Court of India.
